I am a single mom, a Soul Seeker, a bhakti yogini and visual artist.  I live with my delightful little kumari daughter who makes me face my ego daily, hopefully with humor!  Parenthood is easilly the most challenging meditation I have to surrender into…
At this moment I am devoting myself to co-creating transcendental artworks and working with children.  I am in the process of creating a curriculum based partly upon the works of Steiner/Gurdjieff for an ongoing  two-part workshop called Synesthesia.  Each part will focus on an age group: part one will be for children ages 5-14, part two will be for adults, including older children and teenagers.  These workshops will be dedicated to awakening and re-integrating the atrophied connections between the senses and between the mind and spirit/intuition, via the exploration of how sight and sound, inner vision, touch and experiential phenomenon all come together to create new realities.  From this place of integration we can build a foundation of true response to the world and each other, instead of being stuck in the static disease of reactivity and dysfunction.
I am also seeking to form an intercultural exchange within the venue of a coffeehouse style pot-latch cafe, once a week.  It would be wonderful for our greater community to be able to hear the stories of our refugee population and come to know the richness of their cultures.  Live music will be played and any funds collected will be given to local refugee families in need.  

Weekly bhajan and kirtan in honor of Amma will commence in Charlotte, VT, hosted by alicia and renuka,  on August 17th.  This will continue until next summer when Amma will have her 2008 US Tour, and everyone will go on pilgrimage.     
A Mother's Kitchen will also commence in Sept, at the Salvation Army in Burlington, VT - served with bliss by the Amma group.

(The Kriya Studio is in the process of re-arranging it's structure.  There are key members who are withdrawing and we may be moving out of our physical space - how we will eventually take shape is unknown at this time)
